What We Believe
WE BELIEVE in the triune God. He is one in three persons, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He has no beginning and no end. He has always existed. He created all and everything therefore He owns it all. He is holy, just, righteous, merciful, loving, and full of grace (and much more) in all He does and does not do. He is sovereign over all and has no needs.
WE BELIEVE Jesus Christ is the One and only Son Of God. We believe Jesus was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died, was buried, rose again, appeared to over 500 people during His post-resurrection time on earth, and ascended to heaven and now sits at the right-hand of the Father interceding for the saints. We believe Jesus' blood covers our sin and it is through Him any person can gain entrance into everlasting life. We believe Jesus performed many miracles while on earth. We believe Jesus will come back again in some future historical time to reclaim the earth for His glory and as His kingdom.
WE BELIEVE the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God. It is true truth, without errors, reliable, and the foundation for all of our doctrine, faith, and conduct. The Bible is the foundation for living a life pleasing to God. Therefore we hold that each Christian should persistently and consistently, with duty and joy, read, study, and apply the Scriptures to their lives.
WE BELIEVE salvation is found in no other name except the name of Jesus Christ. We believe there is only one legitimate way for sins to be forgiven and a person made whole. Jesus is that way. The gospel of Jesus Christ is exclusive. When a Christian dies they will go to a place of paradise. This place is heaven.
WE BELIEVE Jesus gave the Church two ordinances, Holy Communion and Water Baptism (complete submersion). Liberty practices both of these ordinances.
WE BELIEVE the body of Christ (the Church) should meet on a regular basis for the purposes of worship, discipleship, ministry, evangelism, and fellowship. Every member of the Church has been gifted by the Holy Spirit to serve Christ and one another. For that reason it is the responsibility and privilege of each member to help serve Christ and fellow believers in some capacity in the local Church.
WE BELIEVE man is born a sinner. Man is not a sinner because he sins, he sins because he is a sinner. Unless a person is born again that person will go to a real place of agony and pain. We call this place hell. Hell will be experienced for an eternity for those who are not born again. Hell is a place where punishment will be dealt out justly to all those who are not saved.
WE BELIEVE each Christian can live a life full of joy as they seek to delight in the Lord. It is with pleasure and great enthusiasm Christians have the ability to celebrate the glory and utter goodness of God each and every day. We believe knowing God is the greatest treasure on earth and it is worth spending a lifetime seeking after. There is nothing more valuable and significant than the richness of finding pleasure in the triune God.
It is an honor and a privilege to be a member at Liberty Baptist Church, therefore we understand membership carries with it great responsibility. That's why we ask our members to do the following:

(2) Share the responsibility of the church by
# Praying for its growth
# Inviting the unchurched to attend
# Warmly welcoming those who visit

# Being equipped to serve with their pastor
# Developing a servant's heart
(4) Support the testimony of the church by
# Attending faithfully
# Living a life that pleases God
# Tithing faithfully and regularly
